Hello and welcome to my blog.

The eldest of three children, I was born in Jodhpur, Rajasthan and lived variously in Yercaud, New Delhi and Ludhiana before moving to Chennai (then known as Madras) with my parents in 1974. Am an entrepreneur and branding professional with many interests. This is my blog or a personal website, created and maintained by me, mostly for myself and for anyone who cares to read it.

Personal interests include self development, linguistics, and incredible India. Am hoping to write a book on some aspect of Indian arts and crafts.

Professional interests revolve around creativity, naming, graphic design, typography, calligraphy, marketing, advertising, retailing, and management.

Founder of Envission Communication Private Limited, a creative studio providing graphic design, naming, advertising and brand communication services.

Founder of Resplenda Expressions Private Limited, a jewellery design, manufacturing, ecommerce, and retailing company. It is also a worldwide agent for Poompuhar (The Tamilnadu Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited) for promotion of artisans and their handicrafts.

Founder of Annapakshi Craft Sources Private Limited, an ecommerce and retail business specialising in Kanjivaram silk saris.

Founder of Navtantra Retail Private Limited, an ecommerce and retailing business specialising in handwoven sarees.
